We are always keen to further optimise our fleet and invest into innovative concepts. For that reason:
- We operate Gigaliners on our most frequently used overnight-connections to reduce the number of vehicles operating per night while having an optimal utilisation. We are able to achieve CO2e reductions of up to 20% on these connections.
- We invest in Tear-Drop trailers and other light-weighting equipment wherever suitable to reduce our fuel consumptions.
- We support pioneering projects such as the Smart Aircargo Trailer in Cargo City South, Frankfurt/Main. The project aims an optimised vehicle utilisation combined with minimised truck runs with the help of autonomous driving technologies.
